Demonstrating Deployment and Execution of Earth Observation Exploitation Platforms
The Open Geospatial Consortium’s (OGC) Earth Observation Exploitation Platform Hackathon recently took place at the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt. 52°North’s Benjamin Pross participated in the testing of various client and service implementations.

Sharing knowledge with the marine science and ocean technology communities
Last month, the oceans community met at the Oceanology International conference in London. 52°North’s Christian Autermann participated in the Training workshop “Interoperability Technologies for Sharing Ocean Instruments and Real-time Data” – a workshop for ocean scientists, engineers and technicians dealing with in-situ sensor and observing systems. more >
