If you are interested in becoming a software contributor, the following information is relevant.

52°North GmbH manages the intellectual property rights (IPR) and software licensing for all of the 52°North software. In order to do this, we must collect the usage rights of all contributions. We require these usage rights in order to

• grant the Open Source license to potential users,
• change the terms of the Open Source License for a particular software project if necessary,
• exceptionally grant additional licenses with individual terms and conditions if required and
• take legal action against misuse of the software.

Thus, all software contributors must sign a license agreement.

If you are interested in submitting code to our repositories, please

• contact the community leader responsible for the software to which you would like to contribute
• download the License Agreement*
• fill out the License Agreement with your name and private address (you should not be able to save this on your computer)
• print the document twice
• sign both copies
• send both copies, along with your name, address, email and the community of interest to:
