New Perspectives in Earth Observation – current developments in methodology and applications
The German Aerospace Center Space Administration (DLR Raumfahrtmanagement) hosts a symposium „New Perspectives in Earth Observation“ from June 25 – 27, 2018 in Cologne. The symposium provides a platform for developers and providers, as well as users of Earth Observation satellite data to present and discuss current work in the field. Thematic session address questions concerning how to successfully use the large amounts of EO data and what requirements/specifications arise for their provision and processing. What difficulties arise when linking various data types and integrating earth observation into digital applications? In addition, participants address current developments surrounding access to Copernicus data (CODE-DE, DIAS).
