Real-time data as critical source of information

What is real-time data and why is it a valuable source of information? These and other questions were answered at the data.europa.eu academy’s recent webinar.

As facilitator, Simon Jirka illustrated how real-time data sets are currently handled within data.europa.eu and gave an overview of relevant standards, APIs, and technologies. His presentation was followed by a discussion during which participants shared their ideas on relevant technologies, future requirements and which real-time data sources should be further investigated for data.europa.eu.
