LOCating and eXploring GeoInformation at Martin-Luther-King-Weg
At a time when geospatial technology plays a critical role in shaping our understanding of the world, a group of ifgi master’s students had the opportunity to delve into the realm of geospatial innovation during their visit to con terra GmbH and 52°North GmbH. Both companies have made significant contributions to the field, and this experience allowed the students to witness first-hand the cutting-edge technologies and groundbreaking solutions being developed.
The students were warmly welcomed by company representatives and introduced to experts who showcased a diverse range of projects. They then had the opportunity to engage in stimulating discussions with con terra experts and to interact with 52°North researchers and developers, who shared their experiences and explained the importance of open source initiatives in advancing the field.
The visit to con terra and 52°North was a great experience for the master’s students.
