The Institute for Geoinformatics, Univeristy of Münster recently held a three day hackathon for its students. The event started with exciting introductory workshops, such as JavaScript, GitHub and the senseBox. For the next two days, the students coded in groups. 52°North joined a jury with con terra, Code for Münster, re:edu and IfGI to choose the best idea and prototype. The groups LeezenLytics, LeezGo and Regen oder Rad all came up with innovative ideas around cycling, however, team “Take my Junk” was the winner with their online gift box for more sustainability.
Many thanks to all the teams for their committment and great results. We had a great time and supporting and sponsoring the hackathon and look forward to next year’s!
Successful hackathon for all ifgi students!
