Sharing knowledge with the marine science and ocean technology communities
Last month, the oceans community met at the Oceanology International conference in London. 52°North’s Christian Autermann participated in the Training workshop “Interoperability Technologies for Sharing Ocean Instruments and Real-time Data” – a workshop for ocean scientists, engineers and technicians dealing with in-situ sensor and observing systems. He demonstrated OGC Sensor Web Enablement (SWE) technologies for real-time data sharing, which have been implemented during the NeXOS BRIDGES and SeaDataCloud Projects.
