This year’s FOSSGIS takes place in Münster from March 26 – 28, 2025. Users, developers, researchers and other interested parties come together to discuss application, work and further development possibilities as well as the latest developments in open source software for geoinformation systems and open data. The conference focuses on web mapping, geodata infrastructures, geodata management, geoprocessing, geodata analysis and modeling, desktop GIS and free geodata such as OpenStreetMap. It also covers topics such as digital sovereignty in connection with open source as well as open science and FAIR principles.
