EGU General Assemly 2026

May 3rdMay 8th
EGU General Assembly 2026

The EGU General Assembly 2026 takes place from May 3 – 8, 2026 in Vienna, Austria.  It is a global gathering for geoscientists, encompassing all facets of Earth, planetary, and space sciences. The EGU GA’s primary goal is to serve as a platform for scientists, especially early career researchers, to showcase their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geoscience.

52°North presents project work – we have posters, presentations, PICO talks, and short courses! Topics range from enabling reproducible/reusable research, codesign, near real-time disaster risk management to LLMs and urban digital twinning. Our DIRECTED colleagues also present the Risk-Tandem Framework developed during the project.
