OGC API Hackathon
The OGC API Hackathon takes place June 20 – 21, 2019 in London, UK. Hackathon participants will develop OGC Application Programming Interface (API) specifications. They will “test draft OpenAPI-based standards for coverages, map tiles, processes using a common template based on the OGC API for features, aka WFS3” (OGC website). 52°North’s Benjamin Proß will test draft OpenAPI-based standards for processes.

Societal Geo-Innovation
The 20th AGILE Conference on Geographic Information Science takes place from May 9 – 12, 2017 in Wageningen, The Netherlands. This year’s conference theme is Societal Geo-Innovation. Topics cover Big Spatial Data: Analysis and Visualization, Volunteered Geographic Information and Community Observatories, Socio-Economic Impact Assessment of GI and GIScience and Technology Education and Training.
