With the senseBox:bike to the data-driven bicycle city

October 30th · 17:0020:00 CET

Free

The senseBox:bike is an open-source sensor technology that collects environmental and traffic-related data while travelling. With an innovative, AI-based approach, dangerous overtaking manoeuvres by cars, road conditions, particulate matter and temperature are measured on the move. In the workshop, you can assemble the technology, try it out for yourself and discuss with us how this data can contribute to improving the safety of cyclists and cycling infrastructure. If you would like to be part of this citizen science campaign, you will be given the senseBox:bike on loan for a measurement campaign at the end.

No prior knowledge is required! However, it makes sense if you are often riding your Leeze… Just bring a roadworthy bike and you’re ready to go. 🚴‍♂️
