G.I.B. GmbH is a state-owned company that supports the government of North Rhine-Westphalia in achieving its goals of promoting employment, as well as combating unemployment, poverty and social exclusion. Many cities in NRW that already use KomMonitor for social planning tasks have needs for a corporate design when opening KomMonitor for the public.

52°North has improved several aspects of the KomMonitor Web Client configuration to support the definition of custom Web Client layouts. As a result of these enhancements, it will be possible to define custom font styles as well as a coherent color schemes for all UI elements. We also faciliate the provision of custom CSS styles for advanced layout customization. In addition, the data model will be extended to support indicator-specific precision that affects the depiction of time series values.

These enhancements contribute to an improved public presentation of KomMonitor when communicating social statistics to the public, which also promotes trust in statistical information. All developments have been funded by the European Social Fund.
