Supporting the workflow from data to knowledge with RDIs
Research data management is not just a single and encapsulated task to generate new knowledge, but relevant to the entire research cycle, including data collection, analysis, reporting, peer review, publication and reuse. At 52°North, we support the workflow from data to knowledge by developing Research Data Infrastructures (RDI) that help researchers adhere to Open Science principles resulting in research results that are more transparent, reproducible, and reusable.
We offer:
User requirement analysis with users and stakeholders resulting in, for example, mockups
Conceptual design of RDIs considering broadly accepted scientific practices, such as the FAIR Principles
Implementation of RDIs following an agile approach with short feedback loops
Development of RDI components based on open source software
Integration of virtual research environments to address reproducibility using, for instance, the Galaxy platform
(Joint) publications reporting on the developed software and use cases
