The International Conference on Marine Data and Information Systems takes place from November4 – 6, 2018 in Barcelona. It provides an overview of the existing information systems to serve different users in ocean science. In addition, the conference demonstrates progress on the development of efficient technologies: infrastructures for managing large and diverse data sets, standards, interoperable information systems, services and tools for education. 52°North’s Christian Autermann presents a SWE Ingestion Service developed for the SeaDataCloud project.
