DESCRIPTION:Spatial Statistics 2017 – One World: One Health\nThe Spatial Statistics Conference 2017 takes place at the Lancaster University in Lancaster\, UK. Dr. Ben Gräler participates\, hosting a full day workshop on interpolating spatial and spatio-temporal data. \nTuesday July 4\, 2017\n9:00 – 17:00: “Interpolation of spatial and spatio-temporal data” \nThe workshop focuses on interpolating spatial and spatio-temporal point data using different interpolation techniques. Starting with classical kriging\, the extension into a spatio-temporal setting will be discussed. All approaches will be illustrated in hands on sessions based on the R package gstat. In a second block\, copulas and their applications to spatial and spatio-temporal data will be presented. Practicals will be based on the R packages VineCopula and spcopula.
