Geoprocessing Community
Welcome to the 52°North Geoprocessing Community! We provide ready-to-use software as well as prototype implementations to enable processing of geodata in Spatial Data Infrastructures.
Web Processing
This community is dedicated to:
- Web Processing Service (WPS): A web service for standardized processing of geodata.
- WPS-Udig Client: A plugin for the uDig open-source client to perform geoprocessing on the web by means of an WPS.
- WPS-JumpClient: A plugin for the Jump client to perform geoprocessing on the web by means of an WPS.
- WPS Client API: Generic Java API for WPS requests.
- Cloud Computing: Concepts and monitoring as well as autoscaling software for hybrid-clouds.
- Geoprocessing Workflows: Clients and Services for orchestrating WPS services.
- OSM2NetworkDataset: OpenStreetMap for network analyses in ArcGIS.
Our main goals in developing these components are:
- Innovative Software and leadership of thought
- Compliance to existing standards.
- Flexibility to allow easy customization.
- Extensibility to grow with future requirements.
