The 52°North Geoprocessing Community informs the public about the WPS Spacebel development branch in a new blog series.

The series will present the broad variety of projects that extend the WPS framework for specific applications or drive future developments. The "Full Streaming WPS: Near real-time Geoprocessing with WPS" post initiated this series, but has already been integrated into the main development trunk. Today's post "A look into WPS Branches - Today: Spacebel" is the second of the series. Planned posts include, but are not limited to WPS for aviation and conflation (work done within the OWS-9 testbed), or integration of Apache ODE.
