Markus Bärlocher presents the OpenSeaMap project @ 52°North/ifgi

Markus Bärlocher, initiator of the worldwide open source project "The OpenSeaMap Project", visits 52°North and the Institute for Geoinformatics. He will give a talk on The OpenSeaMap Project, a sub project of OpenStreetMap. 52°North will use this opportunity to discuss ideas and concepts about enhancing the capabilities of OpenSeaMap with near real-time sensor data and WebOfThings concepts and to initiate tangible activities.

The presentation and discussion will take place Tuesday, 2012-11-27 from 4 - 6 pm in the the 3rd floor seminar room at ifgi. Those interested are invited to join in, to learn about OpenSeaMap and to discuss the current state and future developments of this worldwide open data project with Markus Bärlocher.
