The INTERGEO conference and trade fair is the world’s largest event for geodesy, geoinformation and land management. From October 5th through 7th, suppliers, practitioners and researchers from all over the world gather in Cologne to present and discuss the state of play in this field of work. Since this event is not an academic forum, but a platform for industry and practitioners, 52°North introduces ready to use innovative solutions.

At con terra’s partner booth (hall 11.2, booth 2G.124), 52°North presents state of the art Sensor Web technology, supporting seamless integration of live sensor data into Spatial Data Infrastructures via OGC Sensor Observation Services. 52°North's open source tools for building lightweight web clients are available to visually explore and use sensor data, e.g. in hydrology, meteorology, environmental monitoring or traffic management.

52°North also demonstrates how to practically use public, private and hybrid Cloud Computing infrastructures. Come and see how to apply Cloud Computing to efficiently serve gigabytes of geodata for hundreds of users via WMS. Discover how to transform your existing IT infrastructure into a hybrid cloud and use commercial, public clouds, such as Amazon, as a back bone for peak demands to ensure availability and performance for your geoinformation services and applications, e.g. in the INSPIRE context.

At this year’s OSGeo Park (hall 11.2, booth 2C.121), 52°North presents techniques to provide, access and efficiently use geoprocessing software – from fine grained GIS functionality to large legacy software packages – via the geospatial web. We provide information on the current state of the open source 52N OGC WPS implementation and its integration with further web services and applications.

Don’t miss our presentations at the INTERGEO Forum:
• Tues. October 5, 2010 at 16:40: "Integration von Sensordaten in Desktop-GIS-Anwendungen"
• Thurs. October 7, 2010 at 11:20: "Cloud Computing für GDI Web-Dienste"

Questions about software integration, architectures, costs and benefits, service levels, security issues, etc…? 52°North, with its service center and its international network of leading partners from research and industry, is an excellent address to discuss and solve these questions.
